Ok Guys, Official date will be 15th July. Thanks for the replies. Cars/Van supporting this event: A.B.C umw Naige66 Volunteers: Jondi Marcuslai Contributor: BIN ===================================================================================== Naige and umw, you are my transport supervisors. Jondi and Huatx3, you are the volunteer co-ordinators. I need 3 vehicles. Car or van will do as long the car boot is empty just for that day. 12 volunteers if possible. 4 guys or gals in one location. I will announce as soon whether its 2 or 3 locations. I will give all addresses once i receive the word of interest from the Children Homes. ===================================================================================== What we need to achieve before the actual day? 2 or 3 drivers will be given the addresses of the homes. They are to orientate themselves on the route and find a suitable collection place nearby. Preferably a HDB void deck. Once that is done, I will announce officially in Gossip to all members to send their toys to these 2 or 3 locations. We will only wait for 2 hours. After we have loaded new batteries and check for serviceability then we will pack them into big plastic bags or boxes. All unserviceable toys will be disposed on the spot. ===================================================================================== Forward planning (Ensured by Naige) 4 days before event = All orientation done and decided on collection points. 3 days before event = Confirm all vehicles availability 2 days before event = Confirm attendance for volunteers 1 day before event = Final discussion or additional points to take note. Actual day (Ensured by Jondi and Naige) 1315 - 1330hrs = Arrival of Volunteers/Vehicles 1330 - 1400hrs = Set up collection Points at Void Decks 1400 - 1600hrs = Receive toys from AB members 1600 - 1630hrs = Photo taking of volunteers with toys collected 1630 - 1730hrs = Commence distribution towards Children Shelter 1730 onwards = End of Event ===================================================================================== List of Miscellaneous Item = Ensured by Huatx3 (I will ask Robertthj to give you a lift.
