I will be visiting Jakarta, Indonesia from 060911 – 090911.
SG462.02 will be spent on 2 sewing machines to support a class which conduct sewing lessons for the local community.
The proceeds of the handicraft goes back to the church which in return contributes to provision giving programs for the 160 needy families and 3 cooked meals per week for 40 elderly.
The remaining SGD 541.21 will be spent on an orphanage which I will visit on 080911.
The SG1000 which is currently safe-kept with the Sisters from Pondok Ozanam, will be used on Dec 2011 during Christmas .
This is a good time to commemorate the festivities with extra provisions given to the needy families.
I will keep everyone up to date on the coming efforts.
