Good Day to all,
This collaboration was between 3 Thailand governmental public offices situated at Sakon Nakhon with AB Charity and SOUL Foundation. The local support gave vehicle and manpower assistance. They handle funds from the central government in terms of social services, health care, education and improvements to infrastructure. The selection of families in receiving this aid is very tedious as i bear witness to each chosen.
The Provision giving started from 170112 to 190112. It's an eye opener for anyone who visits. I witnessed the poor living conditions and simple innovations which help enhanced living. The drinking water which the people have are from the ground. The only way to sterile it, is by boiling. When we gave bottled water, it's considered a luxury for them.
Our effort in the 1st day stretch to the night as we only started delivering from 2pm onwards. 2nd day from 730am to 430pm and 3rd day started at 730am and finish at 10am. 10 sets were delivered to a slightly mountainous area. All in all 100 packets sent. We have a local doctor who told us more about the living conditions of the patients. His valuable insights gave everyone the clarity of his knowledge. Each has a different story to share and equally painful to know.
With friends like Ping, Nam toil, Aeh, Kea, Kam, Muad and Nok, they all played a role each to the effort. I am very glad to make their acquaintance. The visit also covered some nurseries which i will elaborate more in Sakon Nakon Provision Giving - Part 2.
We have given out the following:
01) 500kg of sticky rice
02) 500kg of plain Rice
03) 3000 eggs
04) 200 btl of mineral water
05) 100 btl Fish Sauce
06) 100 btl cooking oil
07) 300 cans of sardines
08) 200 kg of sugar
09) 100 btl of soy sauce
