Amarat Chokepamitkul, a former MP from the Move Forward Party, fulfilled her promise to dance naked if Paetongtarn Shinawatra was removed as Thai Prime Minister.

Back in June, she announced on Facebook that she wished for Paetongtarn’s removal and vowed that if her wish came true, she would thank the statue for granting it by performing a naked dance in front of it.

After her wish was granted, she visited a shrine in Nakhon Pathom and performed a traditional Thai dance while naked, inside a tent screened with white cloth.

Amarat told the media that she did not fully believe in supernatural beings, but had made the vow out of frustration and felt a responsibility to honor it nonetheless.

Her followers praised her for keeping her word and honoring the vow.
